Draw, paint, collage, or interpret as you like in this free & experimental space to focus on the human form. Models will be nude or clothed/semi-clothed based on preference and potential themed nights. Participants can engage at their desired level, but thoughtful art-making, community-building, and peer-learning will be encouraged. Tables, chairs, and shared drawing tools and paper will be available but please bring your own preferred materials. The session will begin with 15 minutes of community guidelines and instruction then go into a variety of short and long poses as considered by the needs of the participants.
"Multimodal Figure Drawing" is organized by Sunmi, a local cartoonist and author of the YA graphic novel "Firebird." Future sessions may be hosted by guest artists or evolve into featuring other subjects, such as athletes, musicians, and more!
